Hi – I’m Chris Mackler, a photographer, editor and designer based in Columbus, Ohio. Most recently I served in the White House Photo Office as Vice President Biden’s Official Photo Editor and Archivist. I enjoy telling stories, with an emphasis on visuals and technology. The White House
While serving in the White House Photo Office, I contributed to the Vice President’s visual voice, scheduling photo releases and helping the Official Photographer edit for online projects.
Photojournalism
During my time working for newspapers in Missouri, Iowa, Indiana and Ohio, I have covered events ranging from breaking news to sporting events and everything in between.
Travels
I spent much of my childhood living overseas, which sparked my interest in traveling and exploring other cultures.
